Forestry Mulching & Tree Trimming Job in Streetman, TX
Streetman is north of Houston, well outside our regular stomping grounds, but the job was worth the trip. Two acres of medium-to-heavy brush and trees, grown in thick enough that you could barely see across the property. We brought the skid steer and forestry mulcher out, cleared the overgrowth, trimmed the trees back to open things up, and handed the owner a property they could actually see and use again. Here is how it went.

The Job: Two Acres of Overgrown Ground
This property had sat overgrown for a while. Brush, undergrowth, and trees had taken over most of the two acres, and the density ran medium to heavy in most spots. The owner could not see across their own land, let alone walk it or put it to use. They wanted it opened up, and that meant clearing the brush down to usable ground and cutting the trees back rather than just trimming the edges.
Streetman is not a town we work in every week. It sits north of Houston, past the edge of where we normally run. We took this one on anyway because it was the kind of job we are set up to handle, and the owner needed someone who could actually get it done.
What We Cleared
We forestry-mulched the acreage, ran the skid steer through the undergrowth and small trees, and trimmed the larger trees up to about 12 feet high to open up sightlines across the property. Two dead trees, roughly 40 feet tall each, came down as part of the job. Standing dead trees that size do not get safer with time, and they were doing nothing for the property but blocking the view.
- Two acres of medium-to-heavy brush and undergrowth forestry-mulched
- Trees trimmed up to about 12 feet high to open sightlines
- Two dead trees, about 40 feet tall, removed
- Overgrowth cleared back to usable, walkable ground

Two Days, Two Acres
The whole job ran about two days on site. Forestry mulching moves fast because the machine grinds the brush down where it stands instead of us cutting and hauling it piece by piece, so two acres of medium-to-heavy density was a two-day turnaround rather than a two-week one.
Job at a glance
Location: Streetman, TX, north of Houston. Size: about two acres. Time: about two days. Work: forestry mulching, overgrowth clearing, and tree trimming up to about 12 feet, plus removal of two dead trees around 40 feet tall.

How It Turned Out
The owner could finally see and use their own property. Two acres that were unwalkable brush a couple of days earlier were open ground, with the dead trees gone and the remaining trees trimmed back enough to open up the view. The owner was extremely happy with the price and, even more, with how fast it came together. In their words, the difference in only two days was huge.
If your property has gotten away from you the same way, our forestry mulching service is built for exactly this kind of job, whether it is two acres or twenty.
