Who We Clear Land For
Residential, commercial, and rural property, anywhere the brush got ahead of the owner.
- Property owners
- Realtors
- Investors
- Builders
- Ranch and hunting land
- Vacant land owners
The problem and the fix
Whatever Grew In, We Get It Back Out.
Brush closes in fast on this side of Houston. A lot you could walk two years ago is a wall of yaupon and briars now, and the part of the property you actually paid for is the part you never set foot on. Here is what that looks like, and here is what we do about it.
The problem
The Calls We Get Most
- A rural or inherited lot has sat untouched for years, and yaupon, briars, tallow, and saplings took it over.
- You bought the property to build or sell on it, but nobody can walk the lot or see what is actually there.
- Brush has closed in on the fence line, the drainage edge, or the road back to the property.
- Storm-downed trees, old brush piles, and junk from a previous owner are still sitting on the land.
What we do about it
How We Handle Each One
- We mulch it standing with the skid steer, and the ground stays covered in a mulch floor when we leave.
- We open the lot up and leave a finished surface underfoot. No grading, no pad work, no excavation.
- The brush cutter runs the line, and we cut a trail or access path wherever the property needs one.
- The grapple loads out what came down and what got left behind. Stump removal is available as an add-on.
Tell us what the lot looks like. We will tell you what it takes.
Land Clearing Services
Ten ways we take property back. Most jobs use two or three of these together, and we sort out which on the quote.
Forestry Mulching
One machine grinds brush, undergrowth, saplings, and small trees down where they stand. The material stays on the property as mulch, so far less gets hauled away. It is usually the fastest way to take overgrown acreage back to usable ground.
Good for:
- Overgrown acreage and wooded lots
- Thick brush and undergrowth
- Hunting property improvement
- Reclaiming areas you cannot walk through
- Fence lines and access paths
Land & Lot Clearing
The full job on a lot or a tract: brush removal, mulching, small tree removal, brush cutting, and grapple cleanup of dead vegetation, fallen limbs, and debris. We clear vegetation ahead of whatever comes next on the property. That is vegetation clearing only, not excavation, engineered grading, or pad construction.
Good for:
- Vacant lots before a sale
- Acreage a builder needs opened up
- Investor and realtor property prep
- Overgrown residential and commercial lots
Brush Clearing
Overgrown brush cleared off residential, vacant, and commercial lots and acreage. We run a mulcher, brush cutter, grapple, and chainsaws, and pick the tool that fits what is actually growing there. Fence lines and the ground around buildings included.
Good for:
- Pre-sale property prep
- Overgrown vacant lots
- Clearing around buildings and structures
- Acreage that got away from you
Brush Cutting
Tall grass, weeds, briars, and lighter brush knocked down on acreage, vacant lots, fields, pastures, and commercial property. This is different from mulching: it cuts growth back rather than grinding it into mulch, and it is the right call for routine brush control. We do not provide lawn mowing or routine residential mowing services.
Good for:
- Pastures and open fields
- Vacant and pre-sale lots
- Commercial property brush control
- Neglected acreage
Property & Land Cleanup
Storm debris, fallen limbs, dead trees, brush piles, old vegetation, and construction or property debris, cleaned up and hauled off. This is where the land equipment meets the hauling side of the business, so one crew handles both. Also the call for whatever a previous owner left behind.
Good for:
- Storm cleanup on acreage
- Old brush and vegetation piles
- Previous-owner debris
- Neglected property reset
Small Tree & Sapling Clearing
Saplings and small trees taken out along with the brush around them, in the same pass. Large trees are beyond what our equipment handles: those get handled separately or coordinated with another contractor, and we will tell you which before we quote.
Good for:
- Sapling regrowth on cleared ground
- Crowded small-tree stands
- Clearing under a mature canopy
- Fence lines grown up in volunteers
Fence-Line Clearing
A clean, workable strip along the fence line so you can see it, maintain it, or build on it. We clear the brush and small growth that has crowded an existing fence, or open the run before a new fence goes in.
Good for:
- New fence installs
- Ranch and acreage perimeters
- Commercial property lines
- Fence rows you cannot get equipment down
Trail & Access Path Clearing
Paths cut and mulched through wooded or overgrown ground so you can actually get where you are going. Width depends on what has to travel it, from a walking trail to a lane wide enough for equipment.
Good for:
- Walking trails
- ATV and UTV paths
- Hunting access and stand approaches
- Equipment and inspection access
Stump Removal
Stumps taken out as part of a clearing job so the ground finishes clean. We handle this as an add-on alongside the clearing work rather than as a standalone service.
Good for:
- Stumps left after a clearing pass
- Ground you plan to build or fence on
- Finishing a lot for sale
Grapple & Storm Debris Cleanup
Grapple work to pick up and load what the mulcher does not take: downed trees, heavy limbs, and piled debris. Another add-on we run with a clearing or cleanup job rather than on its own.
Good for:
- Downed trees after a storm
- Heavy limb and log piles
- Debris piles that need loading out
Storm damage or a pile of yard debris with no clearing involved? That is our storm debris removal and yard waste removal side of the business. Not sure which one your property needs? Our guide to storm debris removal in the Greater Houston area and our yard waste pickup guide both walk through what gets picked up and what does not.
Not Sure Which Service You Need?
Most properties need two or three of these together. Send us the lot and we will tell you which ones it actually takes.
Why Mulching Wins
Cutting and hauling was how this used to get done. Here is what changed.
The material stays on your land
Brush and saplings get ground into mulch right where they stood, so far less has to be loaded, hauled, and dumped. That is the single biggest reason mulching beats cutting and hauling on an overgrown property.
One machine, not a crew with saws
A skid steer with a mulching head replaces a crew swinging chainsaws to cut, drag, and pile by hand. Less labor on the clock means a simpler job and a lower bill.
It leaves a finished surface
You are not left with stumps, drag marks, and burn piles. The mulch settles into an even layer you can walk, drive, fence, or build on, and it holds the soil while new growth comes in.
How It Works
Every property is different, so every job gets quoted on its own. No price lists, no guessing off a phone call.
Send photos or book a walk-through
Text or email a few pictures of the property, or have us come out and walk it. Either works. Tell us what you want the ground to look like when we are done.
We quote the job
We look at what is growing, how thick it is, and how we get equipment in and out. Then you get a price for the job, in writing, before anything starts.
We clear it
We show up with the equipment the job actually needs, mulch and cut what comes out, load out whatever has to leave, and you get the property back usable.
What Cleared Ground Looks Like

Where We Clear
Pearland, the Greater Houston area, and the surrounding counties. If you are outside this list but close to it, call and ask. We travel for acreage.
Land Clearing Questions
Is forestry mulching the same as land clearing?
Not quite. Forestry mulching is one method of clearing: a machine grinds brush and small trees into mulch that stays on the ground. Land clearing is the whole job, and depending on the property that can mean mulching, brush cutting, grapple cleanup, or all three.
Do you haul everything off the property?
Not always, and that is the point of mulching. Mulched material stays on site as ground cover, so there is far less to haul. When there are debris piles, downed trees, or old junk that needs to leave, we load it out with the grapple and haul it off.
Do you remove large trees?
No. We clear saplings and small trees. Anything bigger than our equipment handles gets handled separately or coordinated with another contractor, and we tell you that when we quote instead of after we are on site.
Do you do excavation, grading, or pad prep?
No. We clear vegetation. We do not do excavation, engineered grading, or pad construction. If your project needs that work, we can clear the ground first and you bring in the contractor who does the rest.
Do you mow grass?
We do not provide lawn mowing or routine residential mowing services. We do brush cutting on acreage, fields, pastures, and vacant lots, which is heavier growth than a mower is built for.
How do I get a quote?
Send photos of the property or book a walk-through. Call or text 281-202-9668, or fill out the form on this page. Quotes are free and there is no charge to come look at it.
